  • Is This Legal?
    Yes, thanks to Initiative 71, it is legal for any adult over 21 years of age to possess, up to two ounces of cannabis.
  • Do I Need a Medical Card?
    No, you do not need a medical marijuana card to place an order. You only need to be 21 or over.
  • How Do I Purchase Cannabis From CannabakeDC?
    CannabakeDC DOES NOT sell cannabis. Any cannabis provided to a customer is provided solely as a token of our appreciation for your Donations.
  • What is a "Valid Form of Identification"?
    The identification must be a government-issued driver's license, identification card, or U.S. passport. The issuing government must be a U.S. State or territory in the case of driver's licenses and identification cards. CannabakeDC will not accept foreign-government issued identification cards. Further, we will not accept expired driver's licenses or identification cards.
  • What is the minimum donation amount for pick-up and delivery?
    The minimum donation amount required for any order Tuesday - Thursday is $60. ​ The minimum donation amount required for any order for Friday - Sunday is $80.
  • Is there a delivery fee?
    Yes, keep in mind delivery fees vary based on distance from us and are subject to change at the discretion of CannabakeDC.
  • What forms of payment are acceptable for donations?
    Cash is preferred. However, we also accept Venmo all donations made via Venmo must be pre-paid prior to delivery or pick-up and will include a 4% fee.
  • Can I place an order outside of business hours?
    Yes, You can place an order outside of business hours however it cannot be confirmed or fulfilled until the next business day.
  • Can I use coins as form of donation?
    We prefer not, but if you are to do so please organize.
  • What if I miss my delivery or I'm late to my pickup?
    We have a 10 minute grace period for deliveries and pickups. Please contact us ASAP if you are running late, need to reschedule, or must cancel your order. If you miss your delivery or fail to meet your driver within the grace period, we will have to leave and will not fulfill your order. If you would like us to reschedule your delivery, a $10 fee will be added to your total.
  • My driver is late whats going on?
    Most delays occur for one of three reasons: 1. Volume: We’re experiencing a higher volume of orders: Most of the time, if a driver happens to be running behind, it is likely because there’s an unusually high amount of orders pouring in. We try to be as communicative as possible with updating our customers on driver ETA's. 2. Traffic: Driving in DC can be tricky at times, and even the best drivers make mistakes sometimes. Missing a turn, or taking a wrong turn in DC, can add an extra 5-10 minutes. If this does happen, we try to communicate. 3. Late customers: Whenever the driver does not know if the customer is running late, they try to wait at least 10 minutes before leaving. Or if the driver has to wait an unusual amount of time for a customer, it can effect their other orders. Sometimes it can even be a combination of all three issues, and that is when long wait times occur for other customers that are at their spots on time. Communication is key, and if we all communicate properly, we minimize everyone’s wait time.
  • Do Your Drivers Accept Tips?
    Yes, delivery drivers kindly accept cash tips. also feel free to let us know if you would like to request a particular/favorite driver.
  • Missing or Incorrect Products?
    Customers must verify the contents of their order with the driver before the delivery is completed. The CannabakeDC office must be notified immediately by the driver if anything is incorrect or missing from the order. Customers who refuse this procedure of verification will waive all liability to replace missing products upon departing with the driver. Missing items will be sent out with the next available driver. For customers located within a greater distance, we will schedule re-delivery for the incorrect/missing item on a later date, free of charge.
  • Defective Products?
    All cartridges should be tested with the driver when the items are first delivered. To claim a free exchange for a non-working cartridge, the test must be done during the first delivery. If a non-working item is confirmed in the test, a free exchange will be scheduled immediately. Customers may refuse the driver’s offer to test the cartridges or batteries, but doing so may disqualify the possibility of exchanges or returns.
  • What is the difference between a Sativa, Indica, and Hybrid strain?"
    Sativa flower strains offer a cerebral high; providing a more uplifting and euphoric experience. Indica flower strains offer a bodily sensation; providing a more relaxing experience. Hybrids are a crossbreed between the two strains of flowers.
